Since our founding, the guiding principle of Weinstein Memorial Chapel has been the commitment to treating each family who comes to us as our own. With sincerity, pride, and dedication, we are committed to this time-honored tradition. We are forever mindful that we are in a sacred profession that intimately touches the lives of families.
Although we are fairly new to the Westchester area (We opened in Yonkers in 1992) our family has been in the funeral business since 1930, first on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, then the Upper West Side of Manhattan (Today Plaza Community Chapel is located in one of our family's first buildings) and in Brooklyn since 1965. We have gathered together a staff of highly-qualified and deeply caring individuals to assist us in continuing the funeral home’s mission of providing excellent service to Jewish families in their time of need.
We are locally owned, but, we are not locally limited. As one of New York's oldest and privately owned Jewish funeral homes, we have forged life-long professional and personal relationships with Jewish funeral directors across the country. We can assist your family in the event a death occurs away from home or if final disposition is in another city.
Whether you have an immediate need for our services or you wish to begin Pre-Planning a funeral arrangement for you or someone you love, call us. We will be proud to serve you. We are available to you 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our doors are always open.
